3. Purchase & Possession Limits
Total Limit: Up to 3 oz of dried, unprocessed marijuana or its equivalent per transaction/possession.
Equivalency: 3.5 g of flower = 1 g of concentrate = 100 mg of THC infused product.
Concentrate: (Maxes out at roughly 24 g of concentrate if purchasing no flower).
Edibles: (Maxes out at roughly 2,400 mg THC if purchasing no flower).
4. Where & How to Buy
Dispensaries: Licensed dispensaries only.
Delivery & Online: Recreational delivery is not widely rolled out/authorized in the same manner as medical delivery.
Consumption Lounges: The state allows for "microbusiness" consumption facilities in the future, subject to local municipality opt-ins.
Local Opt-Outs: Municipalities can ban recreational sales entirely through a voter referendum.

Excise Tax: 6% state excise tax on retail sales.
Sales Tax: Standard state sales taxes apply.
Local Tax: Local municipalities and counties may impose up to an additional 3% sales tax via voter approval.

6. Consumption Rules

Plant Count Limits: With a valid personal cultivation card, individuals can grow up to 6 flowering, 6 nonflowering, and 6 clone plants.
Household Caps: Must be kept in a locked, enclosed facility at a private residence.
8. Penalties
Over-Limit Possession: Civil penalties for small amounts over the limit; criminal misdemeanor charges for larger violations.
Public Consumption: Civil fine.
Sale to Minors: Criminal felony.
